We will never truly understand what it has been like to walk in your shoes, to carry a child for nine months, give birth and then make the difficult decision to have an adoptive plan for him or her to be loved and cared for by someone else. We will forever respect and be grateful that you made such a loving, selfless choice for your little one.

Having been through the ups and downs of trying to start a family and struggling very hard for a number of years, we can empathize that during life’s toughest times, some days feel somewhat positive and grounded, while others feel confusing, depressing, lonely and even terrifying. Often times there isn’t anyone else who truly gets what you are going through.

We may not always fully understand everything you are experiencing; we may not always know the right thing to say or do, but we will be praying for you and be right alongside you through thick and thin. We are living proof that difficult life journeys often lead to beautiful things.

While we have been hugely blessed to finally have two biological children of our own, Ellie and Charlie, our struggle made us realize we both really desired and needed adoption to be a part of our family’s story. We know that our family will not feel complete until our adopted child comes home to be loved by us and his or her siblings.

Thank you for learning about and considering our family. We look forward to getting to meet and know you!
