Joey and Tabatha
Hello!
We would like to start off by saying we are truly grateful for you taking the time to read a little about us. We are honored that you chose to take a look into our lives and we hope the pictures will fill in some of the missing pieces. We know that by considering adoption for your child, you have so much love, compassion, and nothing but the best interests for your child in mind. We truly respect your courage.
Our names are Joey and Tabatha. We are simply a happy-go-lucky couple who spend our time enjoying what life brings us. We met 5 years ago at work, of all places. When they say opposites attract they are so right! We are different for sure, but it makes us complete and our balance is perfection. On September 20, 2008 we decided that our lives would not ever be the same unless we spent the rest of it together. This was the day that we vowed to love and cherish one another for the rest of our lives. We truly are best friends, our other halves who enjoy one another’s company and know that we were meant to be together. It may sound like a cliché and a fairytale, but we consider ourselves blessed.
We both knew even before getting married that a family is something we wanted more than anything. After 2 years of trying to conceive a child biologically and going through various procedures, even surgery, we realized God has bigger plans for us. We became licensed foster parents in the beginning of 2011 and have enjoyed the company of a very special little girl who has been a part of our household since February. We have been blessed and know it will be sad to see her go, but we feel good knowing we were able to help her through this hard time in her life. In turn we have decided to completely devote ourselves to becoming parents through adoption.
Joey works full time as a Collection Specialist for
a bank and has been in the field for 6 years. He enjoys
playing, watching, and coaching sports. Joey was a
Little League coach a few years ago and hopes to get
back into it soon. Tabatha works for a successful Orthodontics
office as a Scheduling Coordinator. She has been involved
in the dental/medical field for 5 years and loves being
a part of helping people. Tabatha has a passion for
scrapbooking, movies, and reading (mostly her Twilight
novels). We love being able to take advantage of the
weather when we can by going out on the boat or simply
taking our foster daughter to the park.
Both of us are very involved with our church and thoroughly enjoy serving on our teams every week. Joey is the Lead Usher and has led Growth Groups that are used to bring members of the church closer together. Tabatha was leading the Connection Card team and has since decided to join the Children’s Team and Program Team.
We are both so very eager to be parents and we know that we have so much love and support to offer any child who comes into our lives. We are so excited to someday share the values and life lessons that we have learned and we anticipate the chance to learn from our child as well. We admire you for considering an adoption plan for your child. We pray that you will be able to imagine us in your child’s future. Just know that if we are the missing piece of the puzzle, we certainly would consider keeping you updated with your child’s growth and progress. Please know that we are keeping you and your baby in our prayers and we know God will bless you as he has us with this opportunity.
Sincerely,
Joey and Tabatha
