Dear Birth Mother and Birth Father,
We want
to thank you so very much for taking the time to read our letter and learn a
little about our family and our life. We are full of emotion as we start this
letter to you, I can only imagine how you are feeling. We know this must be an
extremely difficult decision, and we respect and admire the courage you have to
consider adoption. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, that God may give you
wisdom, strength & peace as you go through this time in your life.
Beth and I met in 1998 at a small group function at our church. We were married in 2001. We love each other very much and are very committed to our marriage. We have 2 great children: Ally (17) and John (13). Beth and I have always had such a strong desire to have more children. Beth has suffered through 5 miscarriages in a row, and as a family, we feel very lead to adopt. Both Ally and John love kids and would absolutely love to have a little brother or sister. They are very involved with their nieces and nephews who spend a great deal of time at our home.
About Troy: I grew up in a rural area of southern Wisconsin. My entire family lives within 15 minutes of our home. I have been blessed with a job that allows Beth to stay home full time with our kids and allows me to spend a lot of time with our family. Beth and I have made it a priority to spend a lot of time with our kids. In my opinion, this is the best way to show them love. I enjoy most outdoor activities, traveling, and riding motocross with John (and soon Ally).
About
Beth: I grew up in a rural area of southern Wisconsin and have 3 sisters and 1
brother, most of who live close to home. My parents are still very happily
married and have taught me so much about life, having a good marriage,
loving God, and raising a family. Being a mother to Ally and John has been my
greatest joy and accomplishment in life along with being married to Troy.
Family is the most important thing to us. We love being parents to Ally and John. They are both wonderful teenagers, who have always loved children. Through each of the pregnancies, they were so excited to have a little brother or sister and so disappointed at the loss. Ally teaches karate to preschoolers who she calls her “little ninjas.” They all love her! John loves talking about all the things he could teach a little brother or sister from bike riding to playing ball!
As a family, we love to travel together and discover new things. We can’t wait till the day we’ll have a little one to start showing the world to. We love to laugh together and the laughter of a little one is such a precious sound.
We hope that through our letter and pictures you have seen a glimpse into our lives and what a blessing children are to us. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
